Clinical Profile
I strive to support patients and their caregivers in an acute rehab setting after being discharged from the hospital due to a health crisis (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, transplant, or major joint replacement). I work directly UF Rehabilitation Hospital’s multidisciplinary team including physical/internal medicine, allied health specialties (occupational, physical, and speech therapy), case management to help address adjustment to disability, participation in rehab programming ,and prepare for their discharge home. My training in neuropsychology and counseling psychology are assets when consulting patients decision-making, self-care, insight into their condition, delirium, and potential cognitive/emotional barriers to care.
