To be considered for admission, candidates must be graduate students in good standing in an APA-approved program in clinical or counseling psychology. They must have completed their masters’ degree or equivalent as well as their qualifying doctoral examination or equivalent. In addition, applicants are required to have proposed their dissertation to be considered for internship at UF. Candidates must be certified as ready for internship training by the Director of Clinical Training of their doctoral programs. Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2023 and must include completed APPI application and a clinical work sample. It is recommended that you submit a de-identified assessment report as your clinical work sample – one that allows you to demonstrate your ability to summarize complex information in a clear way.
